THE LOOP
Copenhagen, Denmark
Both Bridge and Building
A unique project that brings multiple disciplines on terms like no other has ever achieved – urban planning, metropolitan marketing, architectural challenges, and civil engineering.
The landmark complex in the heart of Copenhagen’s port area is the monumental idea of linking passenger and bicycle routes of the Langelinie and Marmormolen wharfs.
The Loop is both a building and a bridge, a workspace and a public road and explores every technical and energetical option. Its shape mirroring the surrounding waters completes the full circle.
